United Farm Workers Foundation

Documenting farm worker stories amid climate change.

In collaboration with Gutsy Media and the United Farm Workers Foundation, I produced a short-form documentary series filmed across Georgia, Arizona, and California. Working on behalf of Pachamama Film, I led client and agency relationships and secured the project, while director Cris directed, shot, and edited the films. Together, we developed a narrative framework that placed farm workers’ lived experiences at the center of the climate conversation.

Context |

The series approached climate change through the people most exposed to it. Each film focused on farm workers navigating extreme heat, pesticide exposure, and flooding — not as statistics, but as individuals balancing work, health, and family. Interviews were conducted in Spanish, in the fields and towns where these stories unfold.

Across six films and more than sixty supporting assets, the series made clear what is at risk — health, livelihood, and dignity — and why federal heat and workplace protections are urgently needed.
