Mikaela Gauer is a Canadian creative director and photographer working globally.

A lifetime pursuit of international travel and transcultural experiences has directly informed her artistic point-of-view. Gauer spent her early years in magazine publishing and has gone on to concept, shoot, and direct print and film campaigns for luxury brands. She is a swiss army knife, adept at production and excelling at creative ideation and execution. After 16 years in New York City, Gauer is now based on the west coast, working at the intersection of art and strategy to create impactful visual narratives for brands that resonate with global audiences.

Gauer’s love of adventure has taken her to 50+ countries across all seven continents. She’s found beauty in every corner of the earth, and her profound intention is to capture and celebrate all of it.
