Mikaela Gauer is a Canadian creative director based in Vancouver and Los Angeles.

She spent 16 years in New York City working in photography, film, and branded content for beauty, hospitality, travel, and lifestyle brands, often on projects spanning countries and cultures.

She moves easily between large-scale brand campaigns and intimate, field-based productions. Her experience includes leading global brand initiatives, directing documentary storytelling in remote locations, and building teams to meet the realities of each project.

Gauer is typically brought in at moments of transition—when a brand is finding its footing, expanding its reach, or rethinking how it presents itself to the world. Her work is grounded in story and shaped by a sharp visual sensibility, guiding creative direction through strategy and visual language into cohesive campaigns, films, and content ecosystems.
