Oribe: Building a Brand with Style and Substance
Before its acquisition by Kao, Oribe lacked an internal creative team and had limited visibility on digital platforms. From 2018 to 2021, I partnered with the brand as a trusted creative lead, helping to shape its visual identity and storytelling voice across campaigns, partnerships, and evergreen content.
My Role
- Acted as creative director, producer, and photographer for brand campaigns across holiday, product launches, and salon initiatives
- Developed and executed still and motion content for multi-platform use, including social, e-commerce, and in-store displays
- Provided strategic recommendations across casting, production, and creative development to ensure brand consistency
- Led all aspects of pre-production including crew hiring, location services, and set builds
- Oversaw post-production from retouching to motion editing, ensuring final delivery aligned with Oribe’s premium positioning
